Vendors for the 2010 Season of IFM include:
Ammie’s Goodies - A small, locally owned bakery in Northeast Portland specializing in nutritionally rich, gluten free baked goods that are also vegan, and lower in sugar. Using protein rich flours such as coconut, green pea and sorghum; as well as organic sweeteners, we seek to provide treats that remind people of what grandma used to make while giving you a nutritional boost. The business was born as an acknowledgment that many people can’t eat traditional wheat based baked goods, but they should still be able to eat delicious treats. Ammie’s Goodies sources from local suppliers like Bob’s Red Mill in Milwaukie, Oregon and uses organic ingredients when possible. We highlight seasonal produce in our baked goods like muffins, cookies and cakes with local berries. We compost and recycle, support renewable energy through our local utility and conduct business in a socially and environmentally conscious way. We believe that a vibrant community stems from healthy food systems, living wage jobs and cultural diversity. We seek to educate our community about the benefits of eating a gluten free diet, as there is such a wealth of good foods out there.
Thank you for supporting local businesses.
